The Portage Resort sits on the shore of Kenepuru Sound, reachable via a 15-minute ferry from Picton to Torea Bay wharf. Private boat transfers from the wharf to the resort are provided for guests. The property lies directly on the Queen Charlotte Track, a 71-kilometer walking and mountain biking trail through the Marlborough Sounds.
